The once-abysmal music composer Motoi Sakuraba has undergone a massive level-up with the Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria Arrange Album. This luminously excellent soundtrack riffs on the epic grandiosity of such gems as "Movement of Distorted Tragedy," "Celestial Troupe," and "Unrestrained Struggle," providing the full orchestral treatment to the synth originals. Sakuraba really goes to town with "A Motion of the Finishing Blow," karmically redeeming his awkward journeyman efforts with an energetically intense composition demanding repeated listening.
