Shimomura took Parasite Eve's music into a whole new dimension when she released the Remix album, which contained all the electronic, funky, opera-integrating tracks from the game, but remixed by popular Japanese DJs and mixers. The album prominently features her own attempt at remixing the main theme, as well as some very dancy tracks such as the battle remix, Arise Within You, or the somewhat-horrible opera-overkill Influence of Deep. Somnia Memorias is done the most justice by receiving a more solid beat and full English translation in its Platinum Edition, while Urban Noise and Across the Memories make heavy use of distortion and "noise". A good album, but only if you like the type of music.
