Because I'm a flaming nerd, I am re-reading the entire series ever since finishing book 6 (I am currently halfway through book 4 right now) I completely forgot most of book 3, even though its my favorite, mostly because the changes in the movie messed me up.

I thought, it was possible after finishing book 6 that Harry, or Harry's scar was in fact a horcrux.... after reading the series over again, I am begining to believe this more and more, I also am begining to believe that Harry will probably die at the end of book 7 (I really hope not, but I'm not really finding any other solution in my head!) I still have to read through the rest of 4 and then 5 because I've really forgotten all of book 5 its been so long since I've read it. I'm not sure though, if Voldemort's plan WAS to make Harry a horcrux, but to use him, as Dumbledore suspected, as his sacrifice in making his final horcrux... when it backfired either Harry or the scar became it. Its the only explanation for Voldemorts powers being transferred to Harry (parsletongue etc)

I ABSOLUTELY agree that Dumbledore planned to die, either to save Draco, to save Snape or whatever I dont know the exact reason, but I will never ever be convinced that he would be BEGGING for his life... its just not his character. I still loathe Snape, but I don't think he is working for Voldemort, I really really believe he was following Dumbledore's orders (the fight Hagrid overheard them having was Dumbledore telling him he would have to kill him if it came to it)

I am writing a fanfiction (I know I know I'm hopeless a nerd) about this, it's just barely started though, and nothing of what we're talking about is in it yet but for the future whenever I get there, I really plan to write on the Horcrux, R.A.B. and what Dumbledore was thinking when he was dying (also some Ginny gettin pissed at Harry for being a typical MAN hero... hehe) anyway the link is here... http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2512092/1/ oh god I hope no one laughs at me, anyway as I said theres nothing about the horcrux in it just yet, just people falling from exploding brooms and teen angst and stuff... oh and fawkes... i am in love with fawkes...
