what level were you at when you beat sephiroth?

I'm on hard, and I had to level to 96 to finally beat him, and it was close. It took several tries and I think this was just luck.

I beat the game around 55.

And I was at level 66 when I beat Sephiroth on Standard difficulty. I found him much easier than his KH1 counterpart.

I'm at level 58 right now, I tried Sephiroth at level 50 and got my ass kicked. I got all the way to The World that Never Was, to that pathway to the castle and then turned back to Twilight Town to do all the stupid mini games/jobs etc, plus I missed a few treasure chests and can't for the life of me figure out where they are... I hope I didn't miss any as Roxas, would that even count if I did? after I do all that I'm gonna go for Sephiroth again and then try to complete the colliseum... maybe I'll just watch it on youtube like Quale because I could just go back in and beat the game right now.

OK sorry for double posting or whatever but I'm getting so frustrated with the sidequests of this game and I just have a few questions...

I don't know if there'll be spoilers or not so just don't read if you haven't gotten close to the end yet.


First of all I'm at level 59 and the Goddess of Fate cup is still not open, I've beaten all the other three tournaments with the required amount of points Jimminy wants (5,000 for the titan, I think it's 2000 for the ceberus whatever but I have them all done) so I don't understand, am I not supposed to talk to the same dude? could it be because I still cant get 1000 points in Phil's maniac training thing yet? thats the only thing that my journal is saying I need to complete in the colliseum... also, I need to complete the goddess of fate to even get the ultimate weapon because its one of the only places you can get that Oc(however you spell it) + from right?!

also, I am in twilight town now trying to do all the mini jobs, it is here, the colliseum and sephiroth that I have to do in order to finish the journal. I need to do the struggle thing, I beat Hayner (by ALOT) but it won't let me fight anyone else is there something I'm missing?

The only things you need to unlock the Goddess of Fate is being level 53 and having the previous cups completed. A couple of friends had the same prolem though, but all they had to do was leave and re-enter the world and then scroll down n the Tourney menu and it was there.

For Struggle, you have to defeat Hayner 10 times (It took me awhile to figure that out) They really should have just said to beat him 10 times instead of expecting us to.

ok thanks, I've left the colliseum a few times and came back and it's still not there, but I'll worry about it later and focus on getting everything else done for now, I just got to level 60 and its still not there... stupid game.

You have to be right up to the final boss for it to unlock. Like literally, at the final save point and after when the game tells you to complete Jiminy's Journal.

Just beat it, Proud mode, level 50 something and I got the Secret Ending (I think). I didnt do all the Jiminis journal crapo and I still got it, so I think as long as you finish all the stories and shit, you dont need to beat sephiroth and those level 99 cups and all

Yes, it is. And on Proud Mode, you don't need to complete Jiminy's Journal to get the secret FMV.

yeah I was like 'ehh why play hard mode when I can play normal' I wouldnt go as far as to say wuss because I didn't choose easy. but now that I look back proud mode is preferrable since some of these side quests are HARD... all these posters in under 30 seconds... FUCK! and you know, its hard and annoying, annoyingness in videogames is really really annoying.

and I just found out that completeing the journal also means completing the moogle synthesis shop shit... I might just replay the whole damn thing on proud mode and finish before doing this shit.

I'm finally at the last save point so I got the goddess of fate cup and all the rest, I didn't beat it with 3000 points though but all I need is one more orichalcum + in order to get my ultama weapon, then I'm going on to Sephiroth, then I get the Fenrir which supposedly helps with the maniac phil training thing that I can't get more than 600 points on...

and I'll just have to see about the item synth and the one heartless I somehow managed to never encounter that will cost me the secret ending... I wanna do the sephiroth quest regardless so I'll worry about that for now. I don't have the 'glide' ability yet though which I'm reading is extremely helpful... and since every time I've tried to face him in the past he has KICKED MY ASS ROYALLY I think I can use all the help I can get. It's not fair, I kick his ass every time in Kingdom Hearts 1... that should like carry over magically to this game damn them!
