No offense taken, and I loved the whole Armored Core series (albeit I haven't played any since the AC2 sequel...)

The other Agetec games I haven't played, nor even heard of before... So I have no comment on them.

Agetec is pretty hit or miss, many games (like Armored Core and Wild ARMs Alter Code F) they don't develop, only publish. And RPG Maker is a nice concept, but the interface is too convoluded to be any fun. (Though it's good to get together with friends and make fucked up shit with it.) They may get it right with RPG Maker 3....

Wild Arms was good, but the third was one was too damn hard!
Armored Core just ruled...it's fun just getting on with a few friends and seeing who can build the best core from scratch in just one night.

I've heard of said titles, but never played them, something tells me I won't bother to either, but that's ok.

Since you like mecha, give armored core a shot. (Any, preferably 3 or after...much better controls) While it's not the lightning fast awesomeness that is ZOE2, it offers a wide array of missions and very intricate mecha customisation.

I actually am not a large mecha fan, I just think ZOE is neat. Although I will try it one day, that said I tried Gundam something the other day and found it to be quite crap.

Yeah, the gundam games suck, they have yet to make a good one.

I know that, by saying "Gundam something" I was making a small joke towards that idea. I have no idea, but it was crap and I couldn't sit there after 3 or so minutes, so I left.

Well, it finally happened. My PS2 died yesterday, the fan broke and it's pretty much irreparable. :(
