This July's issue of Game Informer featured a small, blink-and-you'll miss it tidbit in its "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" department. Now, I don't have it in front of me, but the gist goes something like this: Apparently, Yoshinori Kitase has said that they are looking for other titles in series to possibly give the same treatment (apparently, a 12 person gang-raping) of FFVII to. The one mentioned in the text was our favorite sadistic magician-slaying adventure, Final Fantasy VI.
Also, there was some nice pics of Final Fantasy VII's opening sequence, all done up with the new PS3 (mmm, newy!). Expect to see it released in 4th quarter 2006 under the moniker Final Fantasy VII: Uber 3D GRAPHIX Train Station AdVENcHA, YO!! |

That was just a Tech Demo, nothing more.
Besides, that doesn't follow the naming sequence. Expect Final Fantasy VII: Midgar Crossdresser in 2007 on the N-Gage |
