The Japanese magazine Shonen Jump has just revealed the first images of a new game based (again) on the series Dragonball Z. The new action 3d game will be entitled Dragonball Z: Sparking and will have 40 characters. Dragonball Z Sparking will offer more freedom than Dragonball Z Budokai. The release of the game is announced for 2005 in Japan for Playstation 2. this is the first game that Bandai has made since they took over from Atari and I must say that they are showing great potential.
I liked Budokai and Budokai 3 (budokai 2 wansn't all that great), but DBZ Sagas looks like ass. I'm hoping this one will be as good or better than Budokai 3, and my hopes are up for this one cause Janenba kicks ass :)
I think Domino has an excellent point. I may have liked DBZ, but I'm really tired of it. It was more of a short diversion from the norm. Back when I still watched that I was obsessed with POKEMON (Thank god i'm over that one! )
Somehow I saw a similarity Between the two, who knows, I was so young!
The series makes for classic video game material...unfortunately the way it was handled in the first few games for it kind of turned me off to it. The quality could be higher now but at thsi point I just don't have the interest to spare.
Yah, the DBZ games and shows were all i ever did. Now, it just seems boring. All the shows have gotten real lame. They seem to be trying desperately to bring it back, but lets face it, its not going to happen. They are doing the same with card-games, poke-mon was a HUGE hit, it died down, then came yu-gi-oh, another HUGE hit, it died down, then dual-masters (which i think is the cheasiest card game ripoff ever). games like that arent meant to come back, they are gone, it should stay that way.
