Personally, I'm going to get a PSP first, but I see what people are saying about the DS. The PSP's better though in my opinion.

I've never seen one, and I don't like to do this normally, but I think that thing sounded like one of the greatest flops in history, and had many flaws. But that said, I wouldn't actually know, but it's what people say.

I personally own both and I find that the strengths and weaknesses of each make it pretty diffcult to decipher which is better.
On one hand, PSP offers such great fundamental gaming experiences, and on such a brilliant screen. I have spent hours and hours on Lumines and Hotshots. DS on the other hand, has great potential to transcend the fundamental gaming nature of the PSP. Too bad it has absolutely NOTHING of interest right now. NOTHING.
Look at the future though: Mario Kart, Castlevania, Animal Crossing, ADVANCE FUCKING WARS, etc. I don't see a single shred of light in the PSP's future.

Except Crisis Core if they don't botch it good.

I'm telling you, with it's dual functionality as a gaming device and a phone, you can use it all the time! it's killer graphics puts the PSP and DS to shame. It's got so many killer apps, it leaves the PSP and DS looking like Game Boy Color...

I was about to say the same thing... I went by an old Electronics Boutique today (the store moved from the mall to another location, some of the cardboard cut outs are still inside the store, as well as the Nokia N-gage display (w/ 2 NGages attatched to it)... I thought it was humorous that they didn't even bother to move the display, or reclaim the QD's...
