Okay, the rules are simple, and I'm sure you've all done this before. Pick ten games (despite the title, I said GAMES, not DISCS) that you can take to a desert Island with you. My picks:

1. Final Fantasy VII- You just can't play it too many times.
2. No One Can Stop Mr. Domino - The best Action/Puzzle hybrid ever.
3. Tetris - the only game I can sit and play for 6 hours straight without getting bored.
4. Blazing Lazers - A Turbo-GrafX-16 classic. One of the best space shooters of all time.
5. Warcraft III - Never get tired of this one.
6. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - The best 2D game EVER.
7. Angband - an old game available on thangorodrim. It's great. Try it.
8. Halo 2 - I would say Goldeneye, but that one's only good with friends.
9. Kazan: Spirit of the Blade - found this one in an arcade. Light gun game. Except with a sword. Slash at stuff onscreen. A cross between Eyetoy and area 51. With Ninjas. Rock.
10. Wolfenstein 3D - Make those Nazis Run!!!!

: Some might say this belongs in general gaming, but my better judgement said here. Sorry if it poses a problem.

1. Final Fantasy VII - I haven't played it in a while, and I think it's about time I did soon.
2 - Metal Gear Solid 2 - I can't get enough of shooting people stealthily, even if I am fairly shit at it.
3 - The Legend of Zelda - Collector's Edition - HA! I cheat! Four games in one! I don't think I should have to explain the need for this game.
4 - Zone of the Enders - The 2nd Runner - Simply stunning game, WHACK WHACK SLASH!
5 - Kingdom Hearts - Again, haven't played it in a while and I damn well should.
6 - The Bouncer - For those times when I must laugh.
7 - Final Fantasy Anthology - Again more than one game in one number! I really should play these games, and all I need is an excuse like being stranded on a desert island.
8 - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Plus Ocarina of Time & OoT Mater Quest) - Another cheat! I love the Master Quest, probably more than the game I actually bought. Although that game was good indeed.
9 - Final Fantasy VIII - Another quality game with many hours to waste away at.
10 - Silent Hill 2 - One screwed up game, and enough time to find all of those endings I should see.

21. Bilskirnir - Various Demos

23. William Basinski's Disintegration Loops

As you can see, I would rather music over video games.

I would actually prefer some music in there, as well as Musashi (the book) but given what was asked I didn't include them.

The point is not what ten THINGS would you bring to a desert island, but what ten GAMES. It is theoretically possible for man to live on gaming alone.

With in theory, no food, no clean water. No shelter, and certainly no power on a desert island... Man can try, but man would fail.
:P

Eat the manuals, Use the cases to build a shelter, use the desert creatures you befriend to run on tredmills to produce artificial power, and drink water caught from the steam of your overheated gaming machine.....it's possible my friend, it's possible

You only have 10 game covers, that's a shitty shelter. You also haven't said where the tredmills come from.

Ill just take some of those porny Atari games from the early '80s with the pixelated dongs and the "women" that look like deformed hot dogs.

Oh and, uh that Syberia game. Don't want to be overcome with excitement on the deserted island.

That was a zinger.
