I'm sure I'm not the only one here who plays Heroclix...it's the most addicting game without 'video' before it out there right now...the main reason I started this though, was to brag about an awesome custom figure I've been working on by hacking apart other figures and putting them into one and repainting it. I took the head from Ian Nottingham, the upper and lower body, arms and legs from Major Maxim, straightened Sydney Savage's whip and painted it silver, drilled a hole in Maxim's hand to put the 'sword' in. Then I took Archangel's right wing and painted it black, put it all on the Veteran Ultimate Sabretooth's base, and I have the awe and wonder that is safer Sephiroth...in a Heroclix figure. Rock.
For the uninitiated, Heroclix is a minis game where you use little figures of Spider-Man, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Judge Dredd, Hellboy, Wolverine, etc., etc., and they fight. It's cool.
A lot of people I play with have gotten bored with just buying the factory made figured and have started doing custom fig's (which led to Sephiroth's creation). We had one guy do all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, one guy did Spawn, one guy did his City of Heroes character...we've had a lot of interesting fig's. One guy even did the entire Tick team (Tick, Arthur, American Maid, Die Fledermaus, and Sewer Urchin) |

It's actually an incredibly well done game. Despite a limited number of total powers and abilities, each character does exactly what he/she/it is supposed to. Batman may not be as strong as Superman, but he can hide in the shadows and Outwit Supes's Impervious Power, then toss a batarang for 3 clicks of hurting. On the other hand, Superman hits things. Hard. Really hard. Just like he's supposed to.
But even beyond the inherent fanboys dream thing, the game mechanics are incredibly smooth. There honestly hasen't been a 'minutes to learn, years to master' game like 'clix since Magic: the Gathering.
