With more information coming out from Telltale about the new Sam & Max episodic series of games, I'm starting to get really excited about it. I was (and I still am) a huge fan of Sam & Max: Hit the Road. The unique brand of humor that comes along with the Dog/Rabbit crew really appeals to me. There needs to be more humor in gaming like there is in Hit the Road. I'll shell out a few bucks for a new Sam & Max fix every now and then.
Holy shit! It's about fucking time a new Sam and Max came out. I'm not sure about the whole episodic thing though, considering the lack of success by Telltale with the Bone series, I'm not sure it will appeal much to the mainstream and make money.
Still, great news! I guess it just flew past me with all the other E3 crap going on.
I don't think that Bone has done poorly. I don't have any numbers to support or disprove that, though.
Also, Sam and Max has the support of GameTap. So not only will the fanbase get it, but also anyone that subscribes to GameTap. I think they'll do well. I still wish LucasArts had not of canceled Freelance Police.
