I was actually quite fond of FFIX's graphics. These screenshots seem really childish. Thats my opinion anyway...

That's the whole point. These graphics look like a cross between the Mana series and FF9. And don't tell me FF9's SD characters and people like Eiko and Vivi weren't childish!
