A couple of questions about your usage of email
1) Which email provider(s) do you use? List all that apply. (Optional: Why that particular provider)
2) How many accounts do you have?
3) If you have multiple email accounts, what do you use them for?
Do NOT give out any of your email addresses. I am merely curious about which provider(s).

Hotmail, one, miscellaneous/everything.
The fewer of anything, including accounts, I have, then the happier I am. |

- Gmail. Accessible via web browser, massive storage, excellent utilities (search, contacts, eas of use). Plus it's Google.
- Hotmail. Leftover from the last century when i just got the nearest free account available. Now I just use it as a spam catcher.
- Various hosting providers with pop3 accounts. Because I have all these websites, and they come with accounts.
2) How many accounts do you have?
7-8
3) If you have multiple email accounts, what do you use them for?
See above.

My gmail account is my main account
My hotmail account is the spam catch-all
My Yahoo account is mainly for the Instant Messenger, although it's used as a not-quite-as-spam-type mail...
Then there's the account though my ISP... which I use even less than the rest of them... that and the fact that it's catching so much spam lately that I've kind of delegated it back to 'why the hell do i have this' status...
There might be a few other accounts floating around somewhere (USA.net rings a bell for some reason, but I can't recall why... and I haven't touched it in like 7 years, so I can't confirm that the account still exists)...

gmail is my main email account, but i keep a hotmail account too just so I can log in to MSN messenger. |

Gmail as main, similar reasons to the above. Basically more space and I like the search ability.
Hotmail in conjunction with MSN, mostly for spam-type crap.
A few website ones here and there, and a university-provided one strictly for university staff dealings only.
All up that's about 4-5 I think.
I have multiple ones to suit certain kinds of people. If you have one address, you find it gets clogged with random spam. It's just easier this way. |

school E-Mail (University of Illinois) is my main, just because it's easier to use when i'm at school for the majority of the year.
G-Mail i use for storage. i forward all my mail accounts to my G-Mail account.
Justice.com account. i only use it because it goes @justice.com. it's worked before when i've scared people into doing what i wanted them to.
a throwaway yahoo account, for what else? porn. |

Gmail is my main, I also have a Gmail account solely for spam/misc
1 Hotmail account that I've had for a few years, used mostly for MSN contacts.
2 Yahoo accounts, pretty much spam now. |

Yahoo as the main account, mainly because it's the one I've been using for years... but I'm slowly going for Gmail. For the moment, I use Gmail for storage.
One Hotmail account, it's the one I've always used on MSN.
One university account, where I receive the things I'm supposed to read and the stuff I'm supposed to work on.
An extra Yahoo account, to use when I register into forums and the like. |

What, really, is the point of having more than one e-mail account, unless you own a business and wish to separate it from pleasureable e-mails? |

I use my extras for signing up to thins that look like they'll send me spam even though I check the boxes that sepcifically state I don't want any. |
