Well, the government doesn't really care about anyone so you shouldn't expect much from them :(

its very very frustrating to not be able to live in my house because it is flooded and to be crammed into a small house with too many people with no power for over a week and a half... not to mention its insane to try to drive to work there are pretty much no traffic lights at all left and the few that didn't blow away don't have power still... and floridians already suck at driving...

hey, the offer to chill in orlando for a while still stands. I got an extra room, fouton, tv and ps2 in the living room, etc etc

again I didn't mean to make a 'feel sorry for me' thread, and no I left no explanation here before this topic only people who read my livejournal know what the hell is going on, it wasn't even really in the news but ft. lauderdale was hit very bad by hurricane wilma two weeks ago and in the process destroyed my home... hardly anybody i know called to see if we were alright and when i finally got back online i had no emails and nobody said a damn thing it took me a few days to realize nobody even knew it happened, people started calling me later last week telling me they had no idea sorry blah blah blah, anyway under certain sorts of conditions people tend to get bitchy...

anyway, it's here sorry for being a bitch, we finally have power again, and like they are sending in contractors to the condo buildings next week to analyze and check the electrical and thats the next step to getting my home back ^_^

right now the celings are caving in and moldy and all that fun stuff... but i feel okay now i've had time to deal with the stress... getting electricity back helps a lot... i was without it for nearly two fucking weeks.

Glad to hear things are getting better after putting up with those conditions for two weeks (I like the comment about sexy hot water). To be honest, the first post didn't "register" and I don't know anyone who lives in Florida but it's good to see Xavi's got your back (out of this SHMFoD coterie).
