- E3 2007 - Square Enix to bring online store stateside
In addition to its E3 lineup announcement, Square Enix has revealed its scheme to open a North American online store. Square Enix, as a self-described "premiere [maker] of high end-collectibles" plans to stock a multitude of "popular and hard-to-find items" including Master Arms, Play Arts, and Mechanical Arts spanning various series, from Final Fantasy to Kingdom Hearts. Clearly, Square Enix has seen that someone, somewhere is making money selling its products. The immediate consequence will likely find many third-party vendors competing for profits with Square Enix itself. The Online Store

- Final Fantasy XII sequel, three additional titles announced
The news hit hard today with the most recent issues of Japanese gaming magazines VJump and Famitsu: Square Enix has unveiled no fewer than four titles currently under development for the Nintendo DS and Playstation 2. - Nomura discusses Kingdom Hearts
In a recent premier party, Kingdom Hearts II director Tetsuya Nomura commented on the fact that the changes made to accommodate Kingdom Hearts II for its United States release were minimal and thus not conducive of an International version. More interestingly, Nomura-san emphasized his plans for another Kingdom Hearts project, which he stressed would not be a direct sequel or foray into other media types, and noted that Square Enix has a "surprise ceremony" in store for E3. - Chain of Memories breaks 1 million shipped units
Squenix announced that since its release in Japan and North America last year, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories has shipped over one million copies, which puts it at about half the sales amount that the original Kingdom Hearts hit. Not bad for a game Andrew hates...
- There is nothing sexual about Kingdom Hearts pillows
A competition on the Club Nintendo Kingdom Hearts website running since November 11 and ending on January 7 will see 8000 random lucky contestants receiving either of two Kingdom Hearts towels. - Kingdom Hearts pre-release party
Square Enix has sent out the first invitations to their Kingdom Hearts premier party, which will take place on August 26th and 27th in the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center. In addition to both Kingdom Hearts 2 and Chain of Memories being playable as demos, visitors will also be treated to a showing of a Kingdom Hearts video and other exclusive KH2 items. - Square Enix confirms E3 titles
Square Enix has revealed what titles will be shown at E3 next month - most notably Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, pretty much locking a North American release. Also to be shown are Front Mission 4, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.
- Kingdom Hearts breaks 4 million
Squenix announced that dodgy Disney/Final Fantasy mix-up Kingdom Hearts has sold over 4 million copies worldwide, 2 million of which in North America, 1.2 in Japan and 800k in Europe. This puts the title among the bestselling games the company has published, not to mention one of the bestselling games on PS2. Kingdom Hearts will be receiving a sequel later this year in the form of Kingdom Hearts 2, as well as a GBA incarnation, Chain of Memories, both of which will be further unveiled at E3 this May.

Shinjii Hashimoto, vice president of Square Enix, has told Japanese magazine Dorimaga that the company will be revealing more games at this year's E3 than any company ever before. And that's a good thing: "It will surprise everyone." Hashimoto also went on to comment on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA, saying that it will "push the handheld harder than it has ever been pushed before". Other games you can expect to see at the expo are Final Fantasy XII, Dragon Quest V, Ambrosia Odyssey, and Kingdom Hearts II, as well as the DVD movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Quiter is all over the latest issue of Shonen Jump, in which Squenix unveiled a Final Fantasy VII sequel entitled "Advent Children". The scanned pages [1 2 3 4] show images of newly rendered Cloud and Sephiroth from the "sequel", which will be a DVD movie which takes place two years after the events of the game. Kingdom Hearts II and Chain of Memories are also on display, featuring Sora, Donald and Goofy, as well as a hooded Mickey from the previously shown Deep Dive movie, and some of the "unknowns".
