| Despite being the ultimate armored mole, Tanket's defense doesn't seem to be much higher than any of the rest of these bosses. To level the playing field and reduce his defense to zero, use Auron's Banishing Blade Overdrive, or a Frag Grenade. Tanket has very high magic resistance, and only a basic bodyblow attack, which also Berserks the target. You do NOT want your bearers of Auto Phoenix to become Berserked, because this will prevent them from using a Phoenix Down on a fallen party member! Also, when only one party member is left alive, Tanket will repeatedly bodyblow them until they die, without giving you a turn, or chance counterattack. If you can kill him without any of the above transpiring, it's such a cheap and easy way to get Defense Spheres, I almost feel sorry for the little guy. |
