- Ultimate Hits a hit
Five hundred thousand. That is the number of copies that Square Enix's Ultimate Hits budget series has sold since its inception in September 2005. Since then, it has been a remarkable tool for the company to curb the high prices associated with the sales of used titles and personally pocket the popularity of their classics. To accompany this tremendous success, Square Enix will be releasing no fewer than sixteen more titles into the Ultimate Hits line on July 20, including Valkyrie Profile and Final Fantasy Tactics. - Square Enix and friends lay sights on 360
Own an X-Box 360? Ready for some real Square Enix RPG goodness? Keep waiting. In a recent Microsoft press conference, Square Enix unveiled Project Sylph, their newest foray into next-gen first person shooters. Thankfully, Star Ocean creators Tri-Ace also announced an RPG being developed for Microsoft Game Studios while Squeenix expatriate Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker provided trailers for Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. - Sakuraba to stage Valkyrie concert
You won't be hearing any Wagner at Roppongi's Laforet Museum this June 4th, but fans of Tri-Ace are in for a treat. Famed composer Motoi Sakuraba will be holding a concert to celebrate the impending release of Valkyrie Profile Silmeria. The concert's instrumentation will consist of only a bass, drums, and piano (the latter performed by Sakuraba himself) and will feature music not only from Valkyrie Profile and Silmeria, but also the Star Ocean series as well. - Star Ocean 3 Till the End of Time will come with bonus disk in Europe, confirms Square Enix
Following our earlier reports that a bonus disk may accompany the release of Star Ocean 3 in Europe, Square Enix today confirmed its presence in the retail version of the game. The disk will include interviews with the development team, artwork from the game, musical excerpts of Sakuraba's soundtrack and the previously mentioned trailers of upcoming Square Enix titles, including Final Fantasy XII.
- Bonus FFXII disk to be included in PAL Star Ocean
According to Amazon.co.uk, the European shipment of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, already a two-disk set, will also come packaged with a bonus DVD of Final Fantasy XII footage. Although the game's European release date falls on October 1st, the addition of this extra has not yet been offically confirmed by Square Enix or the game's European publisher, Ubisoft. Amazon.co.uk

Square-Enix has finally shoved open the iron gates to its official US Star Ocean: Till the End of Time website, which includes a thorough overview of the game and its characters, as well as some very good-looking wallpaper. And there was much rejoicing... SO3 Official Website
- Star Ocean 3 confirmed for Europe
Ubisoft announced today that it has acquired the rights to publish Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time in Europe sometimes this Autumn. The game has already been announced for release in North America this August and will be shown at E3 in two weeks.

- Square Enix confirms E3 titles
Square Enix has revealed what titles will be shown at E3 next month - most notably Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, pretty much locking a North American release. Also to be shown are Front Mission 4, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, which was supposed to have been released this month, had been set back for an August release, and until now fans have been left in the dark as to why. Now, Square-Enix has confirmed that the US version will be the same as the Directors' Cut, which contains extra playable characters, costumes, a versus mode, and extra dungeons. RPGFan
