- E3 2007 - Square Enix to bring online store stateside
In addition to its E3 lineup announcement, Square Enix has revealed its scheme to open a North American online store. Square Enix, as a self-described "premiere [maker] of high end-collectibles" plans to stock a multitude of "popular and hard-to-find items" including Master Arms, Play Arts, and Mechanical Arts spanning various series, from Final Fantasy to Kingdom Hearts. Clearly, Square Enix has seen that someone, somewhere is making money selling its products. - Final Fantasy I & II ported to Game Boy Advance
According to Shonen Jump, Square will be releasing a Game Boy Advance port of the revised versions of Final Fantasy I & II, released last year as Final Fantasy Origins. Final Fantasy I & II will have a few extras, including an extra dungeon in I and a new story sequence in II. While the title will have a Japanese release of July, there is no word yet on an international release. 1UP.com

Square EA has set the release date for the Final Fantasy I-II PSOne remakes, known as Final Fantasy Origins in NA and Europe, for 8th April 2003. The same title will be released two weeks earlier in Europe, according to recent (unconfirmed) reports; both varieties can be picked up for around US$/Euro 30,-. Bahahahahaha! Gamefront
- Final Fantasy Origins announced
Square EA has announced that Final Fantasy Origins, a compilation of the PlayStation remakes of NES games Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II, will be released in North America sometime in April. Details about the remakes were revealed last August.
- Final Fantasy I & II, Unlimited SaGa coming to North America
According to GamePro, Square is planning to release the PlayStation versions of Final Fantasy I & II as well as Unlimited SaGa in North America this coming spring. Final Fantasy I & II will reportedly be sold together in a single package.
- Final Fantasy I?II Original Soundtrack Announced
Although officially an "original" soundtrack, the FFI?II OST is ostensibly based on the rearrangements of the original Famicom-quality music for the PlayStation remakes of Final Fantasy I and II. The music on the OST is arranged by Tsuyoshi Sekido, with Nobuo Uematsu supervising the project. The 2-CD OST will be released October 23 in Japan for 2,718 yen (about $23 US), one week before the FFI and FFII PS remakes are released.
