  On November 23rd, Square plans to throw the press conference to end all press conferences. Square dropped numerous hints awhile back that the conference would revolve around the announcement of Final Fantasy IX. However, after giving the show a new title, "Square Millennium", it appears that the RPG giant has much more in store than just that.

  Square has already made it clear that one topic of the show will be their announcements of upcoming Playstation 2 titles. In addition, according to Gaming news gurus The Magicbox, there will be playable demos of many of the aformentioned PS2 titles. Also of interest in the upcoming area, it has been speculated that Square is showing interest in the X-Box, a new console machine by Microsoft. A less than reliable site posted a story claiming that Square had been having direct talks with the creators behind the X Box(I didn't report on this because while trying to confirm if this was indeed a fact, the sources lead to a vapor trail). Come November 23rd, though, it is clear that Square will finally let some of their next-generation plans be known.
