Nintendo Forms New Second Party

The newest addition to Nintendo's second party arsenal consists of ex-Square developers.

$1.8 million in development funds have already been invested in Nintendo's newest second party team, Brownie Brown, which consists broadly of ex-Square associates and developers. The team's first title, Magical Vacation, is a networked RPG in development for the upcoming GameBoy Advance.

The team of developers includes Kameoka Shinichi, character designer for Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu III, who will serve as Brownie Brown's representative director. Kouji Tsuda, director of Brownie Brown, has worked on Seiken Densetsu III and SaGa Frontier as a graphic designer.
