Square's latest in the Final Fantasy series succumbs to the clutches of Famitsu's reviewers.
  Famitsu.com reports today that the complete Weekly Famitsu review of Final Fantasy IX has been released with the July 14 issue. It comes as a surprise to few that Final Fantasy IX has received Famitu's rare and prestigous Platinum award, which goes to games with a 35 out of 40 rating or higher.

  Of the more than 2,000 titles reiewed by Famitsu in the past six years, only 30 have received the Platinum brand. This is quite a feat to say the least.
