No, it's not delayed. It's just confirmed.
  Square has officially announced that Final Fantasy IX will be released on the day that takes place between November 13 and November 15, 2000. I believe that day to be November 14, 2000.

  You might be wondering why this news item is being posted when everyone already knew that the 14th was the release date. It's simply because retailers had predicted a release on the 14th, which Square has now confirmed.

  Final Fantasy IX will retail for a suggested price of $40, which is better than the $50 the other Final Fantasy games have retailed for. Woohoo!
