March 28, 2008, Square Haven has ceased updates indefinitely. Don't despair, however; the work started here more than ten years ago continues at Videogam.in.

No, really.
Sources in Japan claim that the GameCube version of Namco's Soul Calibur 2 will feature someone very familiar to Nintendo fans; Link.  Yes, the very same one from Nintendo's famous Legend of Zelda series.

The Link purported to appear in Soul Calibur 2 is not the controversial cel-shaded version, but an older, more realistic-looking design.  An example of what to expect could possibly be the Link featured in the now infamous Spaceworld 2000 demonstration video.

The franchise crossover, apparently a product of the recent Triforce arcade deal between Nintendo, Namco, and Sega, will only be seen in the GameCube version of Soul Calibur 2.

That's pretty cool. And of course they're going to use the Spaceworld model! It'd just be plain schtupid to have a serious game like Soul Calibur with an annoying lil bugger like (and I dub) Cel-Shady Link. Tch! ;)
