Nintendo slashes sales expectations, blames Germans Citing slow hardware demand in Japan and Germany and strong Japanese currency or something, Nintendo has reported to investors that mid-year profits will be 77% lower that initially expected. Nintendo will supposedly break even, however, after profits are considered from Nintendo's stake in Rare, which were recently sold. Nintendo profits from the $375 million sale were $183 million. 24 year-old Korean man dead; Warcraft III suspected An unemployed 24 year-old man has been reportedly found dead in the bathroom of an Internet cafe in South Korea after a long round of gameplaying. It's a bird! No, it's a plane! Wrong! It's a bird the size of a freakin' plane Residents of several villages in southwestern Alaska reported sightings of an eagle-like bird approximately the size of a small airplane. The bird, which witnesses claimed has a wingspan of 14 feet, threatens to perplex scientists to no end, if in fact it actually exists - only the Steller's eagle, a piscivore weighing up to 20 pounds with a wingspan of 8 feet, comes close to the mystery bird's alleged size. There is a bug... humping my calculator. Earlier this evening at approximately 9:20 PM, an unusual red bug mounted the STAT button on a TI-83 calculator located at the Salisbury, MD home of Matt Berti. The unusual insect continued his bizzare thrusting for a few munutes, but subequently met his untimely death when he was soon after squashed by Webster's Pocket Thesaurus. Link
