The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker director Eiji Aonuma offered some insight on a Wind Waker sequel in a recent C&VG interview. Aonuma gave little away but did sort of confirm the actual existence of the title, stating that "I am hoping to have a playable version ready by next year's E3." Aonuma also offered that the sequel would make use of the very same gaming engine and the cel-shading graphical style of the original Wind Waker.

This goes along greatly with Nintendo's current "18 months too late" strategy, yay Nintendo.

A sequel already being talked about...nothing "big" to me. I still haven't played Wind Waker, maybe if I had a GameCube things would change.
