Nintendo invests in next-gen console, portable, replacements for Mario and Pokemon |
|
According to a shady fan site with no source, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has anounced that the company is currenly investing "some" of their $6 billion in funds in research for Gamecube and Game Boy Advance replacements as well as next-generation franchises to replace Mario and Pokemon. *psst* This is strictly off the record, but I heard that Nintendo wants to purchase Fraggle Rock and make it into a huge gaming franchise. Don't tell anyone, ok? |
