- BloodRayne to appear topless in Playboy magazine
Following on the announcement earlier this week that redhead heroine BloodRayne (from the gnarly PS2 action-adventure of the same name, soon to be projected on big screens everywhere in the upcoming Uwe Boll movie adaptation, and returning to consoles everywhere later this year in BloodRayne 2) would be performing Evanescence's Everybody's Fool in a music video on MTV2 soon, today's news interestingly enough is that she's to be featured completely topless in the October issue of Playboy magazine. Eurogamer's Tom lifts the joke before I get a chance to, though: "Which is fabulous news for any pixel perverts in the audience, and yet another argument for girlfriends and wives who think our medium is all about sex and violence and would rather we just mowed the lawn." - Bonus FFXII disk to be included in PAL Star Ocean
According to Amazon.co.uk, the European shipment of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, already a two-disk set, will also come packaged with a bonus DVD of Final Fantasy XII footage. Although the game's European release date falls on October 1st, the addition of this extra has not yet been offically confirmed by Square Enix or the game's European publisher, Ubisoft. Amazon.co.uk

A new section of the Final Fantasy XII official site has been opened, revealing new details about the races of Ivalice. Currently, the only information available concerns the "Humes", an intelligent race which eats up a 40% piece of the population pie, and the Viera, slender-bodied and silver-haired forest peoples with a tremendous longevity. The Viera, who come in light-skinned and dark-skinned varieties ("Veena" and "Vana", respectively) have their numbers split between forest inhabitation and Hume integration.
