March 28, 2008, Square Haven has ceased updates indefinitely. Don't despair, however; the work started here more than ten years ago continues at Videogam.in.

The last trademark we didn''t know what to assign to has been followed through on by Square Enix: it''s the rumoured Final Fantasy VII spin-off starring Vincent, Dirge of Cerberus. Aside from a scan from Famitsu portraying him, the game logo, and some screenshots, nothing is known other than that it will be released for PS2 in 2005 and takes place one year after the events in Advent Children. This is the "sequel" we wanted. Or is it?

I'm so excited about this game. It looks to be great. Let's just hope it actually turns out as good as we hope. Hell, I would take half as good.

Let's hope that further unveilings of the game don't spoil Advent Children somehow. I don't really want to know anything about it because of that. GAH! I hate working for a Square site sometimes.
