That's clearly Shonen Jump, aside from the "insane pirate" there's the words "Weekly Shonen Jump Game Inquiry" all over the bottom.
Regrardless, it's interesting that Toriyama is back in the gaming arena here. I will be most definately be keeping an eye on Mistwalker... |

I've never liked the man's art. It just emanates this crude, vulgar mood when I look at it. And yes, this means I didn't like the CT character art. The way he draws his women makes me want to groan. |

I'll have to agree with Ziyad, Toriyama always seems to make his characters look puffed up and angry. Ick. (Yay for my first post btw) But in any case, it seems that the kid with the spikey hair IS a dragon or can turn into a dragon (smells like Breath of Fire to me).
And also, why is everyone wearing black? Not to mention the kid at the top looks like some kind of ugly-post apocolyptic "Link". I dunno, I guess I just don't like the man either. Ick. |

Well apparently he is able to turn his shadow into said blue dragon. Sounds a little bit like Okage, that weird PS2 RPG from who knows when. Regardless, if Sakaguchi signs Uematsu to do music for this game, I'm buying it no matter how poor the story is. And yeah, Matt, the insane pirate is a dead givaway... |

Hey I never said I was a fan of his art, I merely said it was interesting. Given my laziness and the small text I haven't really read all that much. The names are 'Kurukku' (the chick), 'Jiiro' ("the ugly-post apocolyptic "Link") and 'Shuu' (the guy down the bottom). Excuse my odd Japanese to English typing skills, I was trying to aid in pronounciation. |

The first next generation Mistwalker title was revealed in the form of a scan in some Japanese magazine today. There are no details pertaining to the title except for the name of the game: Blue Dragon. With Akira Toriyama at the helm of character design, it will be the first Sakaguchi-Toriyama collaboration since Chrono Trigger in 1995.
