March 28, 2008, Square Haven has ceased updates indefinitely. Don't despair, however; the work started here more than ten years ago continues at Videogam.in.

Square Enix has announced that the Square Enix Party 2005 event, which Wada said would show off the revamped Final Fantasy XII in playable form, will be held from July 30-31 in Makuhari Hall, Tokyo. The company will also show other new games, which will probably primarily consist of the new Compilation of Final Fantasy VII and Code Age titles. But we don't care about that shit.

The other major title at said event is Kingdom Hearts II, and that excites me more than FFXII does, I'm sorry, but that's the way it is.

Nephtis, you're fired.

:O

Well, I'm sure as hell thrilled with Kingdom Hearts II, but... Final Fantasy XII is the one for me. Just like Zelda: Twilight Princess was the game I was looking forward to seeing in E3.

Well given the wait for KH II has been more painful, it being a sequel and all. FFXII is another Final Fantasy, to which I have forgotten the meaning of. The last actual game I played was Final Fantasy X, I refuse to play X-2, and XII is online and I can't afford it. I suppose these are some of the reasons KH II excites me more, especially the fact that it is a sequel. You'll deal with it Rahul, perhaps my excitement would be stronger if I'd ever had the chance to play Vagrant Story, forgive me but this country does not retain good titles for a long time, so I don't know what I'm missing out on here.

X-2 is awesome. You're missing out. Vagrant Story is also awesome.

You are the first person who's opinion counts that has ever said that to me about X-2. I shall try and find a copy of Vagrant Story to find out more about it.

Oh yeah, Vagrant Story is simply splendid. Probably the PS Square game I liked the most, together with Chrono Cross. Not that my opinion counts, but anyways. :)

Hey it all counts, and I have yet to hear bad comments about the game. I will track it down when I'm on holidays.

Yep, hope you can find it. :)

Anyways, down there is what Squenix announced as the lineup to the Square-Enix Party 2005. All games will be playable, they said. And they'll also exhibit a new Advent Children preview trailer. Sounds sweet:
