March 28, 2008, Square Haven has ceased updates indefinitely. Don't despair, however; the work started here more than ten years ago continues at Videogam.in.

As last week's Japanese sales charts would appear to indicate, Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Job System did not release with a tremendous amount of fanfare, ranking in third place with some 45,869 copies. It was beaten out by Mario Party 8 for the Wii, which sold 103,889 copies of its total 504,000 this past week to put it in second place. SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive was the real winner, debuting on the DS at number one with 137,717 copies. To spare your calculators the effort, that means that our super-deformed buddies have almost exactly three times the appeal of Yasumi Matsuno's definitive Ivalice adventure. Which just goes to show you: shit with big heads always wins. Or something.

this makes no sense. Zodiac job system is just a higher version of FFXII. NO super deformed characters are even in it, and it is still the "definitive ivalice adventure" XII was, considering it is the same game.

Unless you are actully writing this about the DS XII spinoff game. You are right about the super deformed characters. but then this news would be late. AS if news on the haven is ever on time!

This has dropped it to an all time low.

You idiot, learn how to fucking read. The Super Deformed part of the article is referring to SD Gundam, you know SD stands for Super Deformed right?

Swear to God...

Well gee, thanks for the unasked-for hostility out of nowhere, nataru. I'm sorry I killed your cat.

And Xavi is right; I have no idea what you're talking about.

As for "definitive ivalice adventure" ... I wouldn't submit FFXII as the contender for that title.

If they wanted it to sell, they should have released the version Matsuno intended to make, with an actual ending and everything.

I find it funny that they had the opportunity to release a fixed version of FFXII, so instead of actually fixing the thing that is most fubar (story), they go and change the thing everyone liked in the first place and would be happy to have used again (battle system). Fuckin' retards, I swear. Kawazu I'm looking at you.

Kawazu was responsible for Unlimited SAGA. After that the only position he should have is Chairman of Toilet Cleaning.
