| Square announces that it will soon announce something! |
According to a quote by a Square representitive quoted in a recent issue of Degenki-Oh magazine, Square plans to make an announcement regarding Final Fantasy X. Of Square's 2000 projects, the representitive said, "Surely the biggest is Final Fantasy X. However, in addition, we have the FF movie, PlayOnline, the WonderSwan; we really have lots of things coming up next year. But the details are still...secret."
He then went on to say, "Anyway, for the opening of the New Year, we would like to make an announcement regarding FFX in some form or another. Please look forward to it."
So far, the Final Fantasy for the PS2 to catch the collective imagination of Square fans has been Final Fantasy XI. Hopefully Square's announcement will give us reason to talk about Final Fantasy X instead for awhile.
