The results are in for the first quarter of the current fiscal year and Square Enix has turned a profit of 888 million yen ($7.60 million USD) from 37.20 billion yen ($318.21 million USD) of sales. This constitutes a tripling of sales and no less than sixteen times the same quarter's profits last year. More specifically, titles such as Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria and Dragon Quest VIII selling in Japan and Europe contributed to the 363 million yen ($3.11 million USD) profit of the Square Enix game division, while the official Final Fantasy XII strategy guide also did its part by increasing the profits of the publishing division more than one hundred percent. A new Final Fantasy XI expansion (along with original title's XBox release) helped boost online sales sixty percent. The only loser was Square Enix's subsidiary Taito, whose acquisition you may recall to have been just under a year ago; it has since suffered an operating loss of 663 million yen ($5.67 million USD). No, there is nothing clever to say. Merely weep at the loss of money.

I think it's "black" you're looking for, not green.

Green isn't the opposite of red?
staff

Not in the world of finances!

green is the color of money, buttmunch.

Lol, it should be "black," the Scandinavian's right.

I'm not Scandinavian, motherfucker.

Search your feelings. You know it is true.

I thought the quote was 'you know it to be true'.
pixel
Nephtis, to tell you the truth, I don't really know. @_@

It's been so long since I've seen Ep.V that I can't give you a valid answer to that (moreover because it says both of our versions all over the internet).

But yeah, Rahul's from Norway.

Well it's 'you know it to be true' according to both IMDb and the movie itself, but anyway.
pixel
They're usually right.
staff
pixel
Yeah, the movie itself tends to be correct.

Until you put subtitles on, and chortle at all the discrepancies.

Watch "Amores Perros" sometime. They use about seven different Spanish curses, but it just says "asshole" in the subtitles, about every time.

In the world of finances, black is the opposite of red. It is a strange state of affairs, yet we know it to be true...
