• E3 2007 - Square Enix tactfully flaunts The War of the Lions
  That's right, a surprising new detail has emerged regarding Square Enix's upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. What could they be showing off? The answer may surprise you. Indeed, it isn't a slew of new information, nor is it a gem of a gameplay trailer. Sorry, Final Fantasy VII fanboys, it's no confirmation of Sephiroth as a playable character either. • Square's behind the scenes video of Final Fantasy XII
  The bonus disc of Final Fantasy XII collector's edition came replete with some candid interviews from the game's designers. Though Ivalice mastermind Yasumi Matsuno is nowhere to be found, other contributors to the epic RPG featured on-screen include scenario writer Daisuke Watanabe and translators Alexander O. Smith and Joseph Reeder, art directors Hideo Minaba and Isamu Kamikokuryou, along with CG director Eiji Fujii. Character designer Akihiko Yoshida also tells how he set out to design visuals that had never been seen before by blending medieval armor with mountain biking gear. Video interviews

• Final Fantasy Tactics: Zodiac Brave Minigame
  Square Enix has updated their Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War official site with a custom minigame. Flip the cards and match the pictures on the back within 30 seconds and win a special prize: a zipped file including two custom desktop wallpapers and Windows icons. The wallpapers each display a noseless male and female pair of each job class, art by Akihiko Yoshida. The jobs have been given awkward translations like "Doragon Knight" and "Talker" but they are nonetheless visually stunning. The minigame can be highly addictive. Spoils
