Tetsuya Takahashi (高橋哲哉)

Director

Tetsuya Takahashi began as graphics designer working in the videogame industry. Today he is one of the key members of Monolithsoft's Xenosaga team. He worked as a battle graphics designer on Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI, and contributed graphics design to Front Mission and Chrono Trigger. He was the director and conceived of the scenario of Xenogears, and left Square after the company expressed little interest in continuing the storyline he invisioned. He acted as the director of Monolithsoft's Playstation 2 title Xenosaga Episode 1, which built upon the epic storyline of Xenogears.
