The World Ends With You synopsis
Teenagers Neku Sakuraba and Shiki Misaki have seven days to complete the Sinigami Corporation's Death Game... The rules are varied and intricate. Neku has been endowed with psychic powers by means of which he can sense the presence of monsters living within the thoughts of strangers. As they advance through the game, the motives of the Shinigami corporation's bosses and their lackies, represented by the stylized skull and cross-styli insginia, will come into sharper focus.
It's A Wonderful World has on its lineup of features Nomura designs, a rhythm action battle system, and Ishimoto hip-hop tunes. An urban lifestyle fashion statement and animated riff on Japan's Shibuya youth culture, the game will debut for the Nintendo DS in late July in Japan.

Readers trailing information regarding the upcoming rhythmic action RPG It's a Wonderful World will surely recognize the Shibuyan setting; after all, the game promises to take place in an alternate incarnation of the same area. In a fit of ingenuity expected only from a country such as Japan, advertisements for It's a Wonderful World have been sprinkled across the entirety of the Shibuya district in Tokyo. - Here comes Takeharu Ishimoto
People interested in game music should keep an eye out for Takeharu Ishimoto. The musician has been working with Square for years, mostly flying beneath the radar of mainstream recognititon as a synthesizer programmer.
