Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII synopsis
The town of Kalm is under attack by armored soldiers of the Deepground organization, assembled from the remains of the Shinra Corporation's elite military squadron... If Deepground can gather enough human sacrifices, they hope to bring about another the end of humanity. Only Vincent can stop them from destroying what remains of human civilization.
The first-person shooter entry of the
Compilation of Final Fantasy VII,
Dirge of Cerberus takes place after the events of the Playstation RPG, and may well be the final entry in the series' chronology.

- Final Fantasy potion in collectible tin can form
About a year and a half ago, Square Enix graced us with the Final Fantasy Potion, a mixture of fantastic chemicals all summing to a reportedly horrendous taste. The bottle itself was nothing to gawk at, either. Now Square Enix has different ideas: as part of its Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary celebration, beverage maker Suntory will once again join hands with our favorite Final Fantasy overlords to produce...the same exact thing. Only this time the delicious drink has found its way into collectible tin cans featuring Final Fantasy VII character artwork and others bundled with TRADING ARTS mini figures and minutely different art. - The Pioneers: Masashi Hamauzu
Masashi Hamauzu is a classically trained musician and vocalist. Inheriting the talents of his father, an opera singer, the composer lent his voice to the chorus of "One Winged Angel" in Final Fantasy VII, and years later was selected to compose music for the game's long-awaited sequel. Kari Wahlgren gave voice to such anime characters as Haruka of Cartoon Network's FLCL and Robin of Witch Hunter Robin.
