- The Pioneers: Junya Nakano
 Junya Nakano started out as a music composer for Konami's arcade titles and began composing for Square during the 16-bit era. Since then, he has contributed to such soundtracks as Final Fantasy X, Musashi Samurai Legend, and Project Sylpheed.  Masashi Hamauzu is a classically trained musician and vocalist. Inheriting the talents of his father, an opera singer, the composer lent his voice to the chorus of "One Winged Angel" in Final Fantasy VII, and years later was selected to compose music for the game's long-awaited sequel. - Fresh Musashi information
 The latest issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump unveiled some new details concerning Square Enix's action RPG Musashi Samurai Legend (also known as Musashiden II: Blademaster in Japan). The story will revolve around princess Misela who asks the warrior Musashi to help her save her world from the evil Gundrake Corporation, which has invaded the kingdom of the Mystic race (led by Misela's parents) in order to attain so-called "Magic Stream Stones", tremendous sources of power. - E3: Square announces Brave Fencer Musashi sequel for PS2
 Today Square annonced the long awaited sequel to the sleeper hit Brave Fencer Musashi, entitled Samurai Legend Musashi. The game will follow its predecessor as a 3D platformer but with more expansive levels, Cel-shaded graphics, and a completely re-designed hero. 1up.com
