- E3 2007 - Square Enix to bring online store stateside
In addition to its E3 lineup announcement, Square Enix has revealed its scheme to open a North American online store. Square Enix, as a self-described "premiere [maker] of high end-collectibles" plans to stock a multitude of "popular and hard-to-find items" including Master Arms, Play Arts, and Mechanical Arts spanning various series, from Final Fantasy to Kingdom Hearts. Clearly, Square Enix has seen that someone, somewhere is making money selling its products. The immediate consequence will likely find many third-party vendors competing for profits with Square Enix itself. The Online Store
- Squeenix wishes Final Fantasy a happy anniversary, demands more money
As was promised some time ago, Square Enix has recently announced its intent to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of everyone's most favorite of RPG titles...by releasing them again! Confused? You should be! It seems that Dawn of Souls, now aged some three years, will be coming to the PSP in 2007--split into two separate titles, each with its own equally fulfilling retail price! - Final Fantasy I & II ported to Game Boy Advance
According to Shonen Jump, Square will be releasing a Game Boy Advance port of the revised versions of Final Fantasy I & II, released last year as Final Fantasy Origins. Final Fantasy I & II will have a few extras, including an extra dungeon in I and a new story sequence in II. While the title will have a Japanese release of July, there is no word yet on an international release. 1UP.com

- Final Fantasy Adventure Bible in the lap of the Gods
Square is planning a three-disc DVD collecting data, information, and media of Final Fantasy I through XI. The Adventure Bible will be released in Japan on July 25 for 13,000 yen (about $104 US). Gameforms
- Wonderswan Color Japanese launch date
Bandai will launch the anticipated Wonderswan Color to Japanese gamers on December 9. Final Fantasy will ship as a launch title while Square and Bandai will also release a special limited edition Final Fantasy and Wonderswan package retailing for ?9999, or $93.
- Square and Bandai partner for new handheld
As Bandai develops a new handheld game machine, Square promises support with a Final Fantasy title. Full Article
