Famitsu PS Rates Final Fantasy IX |

| A meager marketing push is no cause for concern, after all. |
? Famitsu PS, the Playstation-only version of Famitsu, gave Square's latest Final Fantasy scores of 10, 9, 10, 9, for a total of 38 out of 40. Although Famitsu PS scores do not have quite the significance and weight that parent magazine Weekly Famitsu's scores do, a 38 should quell some fears of Final Fantasy IX's alleged mediocrity that a lack of advertising for the game in Japan have caused.
? Final Fantasy IX is scheduled for a July 7th release in Japan. Weekly Famitsu's verdict of FFIX will appear next week.
