Considering that video game soundtracks released in the US usually sell like ice cream on a cold day, it's quite surprising that online Japanese retailer Tokyopop has decided to release several of Square's video game soundtracks domestically. This fall, Tokyopop Soundtrax will release the atmospheric, ambient Parasite Eve 2 soundtrack and Nobuo Uematsu's brilliant score to Final Fantasy IX.
But hey, why wait to buy these things when you can win an autographed copy right now? Apparently, on Tokyopop's web page, the contestant who most accurately guesses the 80 tracks (out of 160) that will appear on the Final Fantasy IX soundtrack will win a free autographed copy. Not too shabby, eh?
