Square Enix developing world's only biker gang MMORPG "Proving that the Square Enix partnership isn't just about exploiting powerful franchises, the newly-formed company today announced the world's first massively-multiplayer online biker gang RPG for the PC, as reported by Impress Game Watch. Console price-drop rumored for E3 According to Gamefront, the North American price point of consoles may drop $50 each, an announcement that will take place sometime around E3. Were the price-drop to take effect, gamers could buy PS2 and Xbox for $149.99 each and Gamecube for $99.99.
Square Enix good deal for investors Analyst Eiji Maeda of the Daiwa Institute of Research created a list of companies for the Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper which should be good choices for longterm investors. Square Enix, Capcom and Nintendo were the top three on that list - especially Squenix due to the fusion and the resulting increased output. As for Capcom, it seems odd since the company has not been selling well recently, and Nintendo's reduced popularity is certainly nothing to shout about - though this obviously is not damaging them particularly. Zelda top March seller in US Nintendo's climb back out of the gutter is on the right track with Wind Waker selling 826k copies in the US in March, which of course is partially due to the incredible pre-order sales, according to a Reuters report.
