EGM's rumor mill mentioned a Devil May Cry-style action game featuring Final Fantasy VII's Cloud may be appearing for PS2 later this year.

I've read several articles from Square Enix saying that because of the PS2's ability to play Playstation games they don't feel the need to remake it. I still think they should for the hell of it and the fact the graphics would kick ass.
