Kingdom HeartsThe first day of this year's Tokyo Game Show saw the official announcement of three new Kingdom Hearts titles: Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts: Coded will appear on the DS, PSP, and mobile platform respectively. No release dates have been announced for any of the titles yet.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (Nintendo DS)

Set during the events of Kingdom Hearts II, 358/2 Days will center around Roxas and Axel of Organization XIII. The game will feature a four-player cooperative mode and also incorperate a much darker mood than previous Kingdom Hearts titles.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (Sony PSP)

Birth by Sleep takes place before the events of Kingdom Hearts and will tell the story of previous keyblade masters. The main character is reported to be Thera and will also deal with the history of Xehanort. The game is being developed by the Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII team.

Kingdom Hearts: Coded (Mobile)

The timeline for Coded is unclear at the moment, but looks to take place during the first Kingdom Hearts title. Sora may return as the main character and the gameplay appears to be a basic dungeon crawler.

Oh man this looks awesome. Can't wait. The screens that I saw from several sites look so cool. I'm interested about the story of the three games though. I read somewhere that the three titles are all connected to the "Kingdom Hearts 3". I apologize to Nomura for using the number 3 in the title. lol

I'm not so sure as to what to think about it really. I mean, how many people went out and bought a DS to play Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories?
Well, I don't know the exact numbers, but I'm sure it sold so much better on the PS2 than on the DS.

Birth By Sleep, and the 358/2 days game sounds interesting, but the whole mobile version of a KH games sounds like it's going to be a huge dissapointment.

Never played Musashi. But a lot of my friends have that game. I've always wanted to play it, but it just looked like something I couldn't get into.

But seriously why not? Espically the 358/2 days title.
I know for a fact that Nomura has to be tired of working with childish disney characters, because hell.......all of us are tired of that! So, why not take that title and throw in on PS2, or maybe PS3?

Although, in a lot of ways, KH just wouldn't be the same without the canon disney characters.

I could see them potentially porting 358/2 Days if it fails to perform, but given that SE has proved that it can move PSPs with Crisis Core, I think they'll be just fine leaving it on there. Also, Crisis Core has a bunch of gameplay engineered specifically for handheld gaming as I'm sure 358/2 Jesus What a Bitch It Is To Type That Days will.

Also, you know nothing for a fact. Nomura is probably having the time of his life working with Disney to do absolute fuck all and makes shit-tons of money. He might even be making a cut off the sales since his name is so directly involved (although given that this is Japan, maybe not).
