Super rad Final Fantasy XI users Otoku and Jar were pronounced man and wife recently when they held the first ever Final Fantasy XI online wedding ceremony, says NewFF.com. Dozens of fellow geeks lined up to witness the joyous ceremony and even Square joined in with a special wedding ring and confetti made for the bride and groom. Good Times. Link
- Final Fantasy X-2 site launches
Since I'm the only staff member here that cares about you, I feel it's my obligation to let you know that Square has launched the Japanese site for Final Fantasy X-2. And since we're such good pals (even though you stole may bandwidth, but it's okay because I forgive you) I'll also tell you that Square has replaced Nobuo Uematsu in favor of Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi for composing FFX-2 music. In addition, Square has released new Yuna artwork, which you can steal from Gameforms for now. Link
- Final Fantasy X-2 dialogue translations
Gameforms has translated into English the most recent media released by Square. Like the screens themselves, the translations reveal very little of the game. Gameforms also reports, however, that Square will opt to discard all of Final Fantasy X's battle functions - such as Sphere Grid, Overkill, and Overdrive - in place of brand new ones. Link

Despite general speculation that Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle would make its spectacular debut at the Tokyo Game Show, Nintendo apparently held the title back from being shown in any way, shape or form, citing Nintendo's lack of participation in the event. Nintendo - in its infinite wisdom - has reportedly cancelled Space World this year, therefore leading puzzled gamers to question when exactly Crystal Chronicle will be revealed to the public. Mentioned several weeks ago, Square's Chocobo-based title for the GameBoy Advance is called Chocobo Land: A Game of Dice, the sequel to Dice de Chocobo (a board game) for the PlayStation. The objective in Chocobo Land, to be released late 2002 in Japan, is to claim all the land on the board (with the aid of magic stones) and triumph over rival players. Also, Square is developing a GBA port of the Super Famicom's Hanjuku Hero. A WonderSwan Color port of the game was released February 2002 in Japan. The Magic Box
