- Lucky Europeans to receive Final Fantasy X extras
Square Europe is preparing for a May 31 release of Final Fantasy X packed with the extra gameplay features present in Final Fantasy X International. Furthermore, the game will have a bonus disc entitled "Beyond Final Fantasy" featuring interviews and a preview of Kingdom Hearts. Square-Europe.com

- Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV release apparent
Although Unconfirmed, Gamers.com reports that the fan outcry for Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV were so great that Square has no choice but to publish them stateside. Look for Square to confirm the releases soon and look for the games this coming summer.
- Hello, Final Fantasy XII
Square introduces the first details of Final Fantasy XII, announces portable versions of Final Fantasy IV through VI, talks of the PC port of Final Fantasy XI, and (kinda) announces support for Nintendo's GameBoy Advance. All in one day, mind you! Full Article
- Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX see PS2 re-release
(Please note that the plans for said re-releases have been dissolved since this article's publication. read: IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN) Bloomerang Japan reports that in addition to the load of previous reported Final Fanasy news, Square also has plans to re-release Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX for the PlayStation 2 platform sometime in the near future. - The Bouncer kicks Japanese ass
Despite mediocre impressions from the press, Square's The Bouncer still captivated gamers in Japan, making it the hottest selling title for December. Look for The Bouncer this coming March in North America.
- Final Fantasy X delayed in Japan
Reports from Famitsu US say that Square has inevitably delayed Final Fantasy X in Japan. Although July will now house it's release, Final Fantasy X is still expected to ship without any online aspects.
- Square: Financial loss for fiscal year expected
With the recent announcement of a Final Fantasy X delay, Square now expects a financial loss of ? 3.4 billion ($29.1 million) for the fiscal year of 2000. The delay completely offset prior projections of a ? 2.5 billion ($21.4 million) profit for the year.

- Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV for North America?
According to Gamers.com, Square EA has been seriously considering both Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV releases for North American PlayStation owners this summer. But for this momentous event to occur, gamers would need to show support by directly e-mailing SquareSoft and requesting the releases.
