Hidenori Iwasaki's Scars of War soundtrack continues the Front Mission tradition. While the large size of the album stretches the composer's talents somewhat thin, there are plenty of excellent tracks to be found. In particular, "Lock and Load" combines techno and metal while retaining a sense of meditative calm. "Listen Up" offers soothing beats and ambient waves of electronic sounds. "R & R" gives the player a relaxing melody to chill out between battles. Einhander's Kenichiro Fukui contributes some memorable tracks such as "Under Seige" and "Seek and Destroy." While not as tight, nor as memorable as Front Mission Online, Scars of War does manage to contribute some stellar listening material to the series.
