A Night in Fantasia set to be Nirvana |

Now, Eminence has announced "A Night in Fantasia 2007: Symphonic Games Edition". The first part of a concert series cleaved in half to allow for separate game and animé music performances, the upcoming late April shows hone in on the more ludic aspects of popular culture and snag some incredible talent to enhance their performance environments.
Chief among these is Yoko Shimomura, most notably responsible for the Kingdom Hearts series, as well as titles going back as far as Super Mario RPG. Of course, this is nothing to say of Hitoshi Sakimoto and Yasunori Mitsuda, who, having made such a splash at "Passion", return to attend the Night in Fantasia performances. Junichi Nakatsuru (Soul Calibur series, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War) and Masaru Shiina (Tales of Legendia and Tekken: Dark Resurrection) will also make an appearance.
Altogether, it seems to be a well constructed event featuring some of the biggest names and music in the industry. Attendance is likely a good move, if only just to touch Yasunori Mitsuda. Just once, maybe on the shoulder.
