Armed with a spear and tremendous leaping technique, the Dragoon is otherwise
a Knight with less magic potential. Since the Jump command is
a delayed attack dependent on the speed of the jumper, it is not completely
reliable; targeted units can simply move out of range. On the positive side, Jump
will get your unit out of harm's way for a period of time. It is only necessary
to acquire the Horizontal Jump 8 and Vertical Jump 8 abilities to maximize
the Dragoon's jumping range.
Not only that but this character's ability to manuever around the battlefield makes it highly desireable in maps that have extreme ranges of terrain. Plus if you dual-wield two polearms, you can safely to a great deal of damage from a safe distance with good accuracy.
