The Mime is unique in that he can use neither secondary abilities nor equipment.
Since the "Mimic" ability is not controllable, it is considerably difficult to
coordinate the party's actions in order to benefit from the presence of Mimes
in battle; one must take into account not only the positions of any Mimes, but
also the actions of other friendly units. In other words, Mimes are best used
with discretion - and even caution.
Among all the "generic" jobs, the Mime has the best statistical growth (with
the exception of MP). His high HP growth and class HP strength partially
offset the inability to equip any items. The Mime also experiences greater
Magic AT growth than all of the other generic jobs (all have the same Magic
AT growth).
ACTION : MIMIC
Mimic is not a controllable action. All Mimes in battle
will immediately copy the action taken during the turn of any friendly unit upon its
completion. (For example, if a unit with Chaos Blade equipped executes a normal attack,
all Mimes will execute a normal attack - as if they were all equipped with Chaos Blade!)
Mimes can only mimic the actions of the "generic" jobs.
